David,

Robert Lacy and I have been conversing among ourselves, concerning Norman’s vacated position.  I am very interested in working my way into Norman’s open slot and Robert is just as interested in getting my then vacated position.  We would like to work with you to earn those positions within a reasonable time period, such as six months to one year from now.  If you consider that to be a possibility, we would like to know what being considered for those positions would entail.
